Return to the Marina and transfer back to your hotel by midday. The afternoon is free for leisure explore Muscat’s surroundings or enjoy hotel facilities at your own pace.

After breakfast, proceed to Nizwa, the historic capital of Oman’s interior. Explore the Round Tower Fort,  dating back to the 17th century, and the lively Nizwa Souq, famous for its Friday cattle auction, hand-carved Khanjars (daggers), and ornamental silver jewellery.

Continue to Wadi Al Madeen for a check post, then drive along a 36 km winding road to Jebel Akhdar (2000 meters above sea level), the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountains. Enjoy the cool climate and stunning landscapes of this unique highland region.

After breakfast, explore the terraces, orchards, and villages of Jebel Akhdar, including Saiq, Wadi Bani Habib, and Al Ain. Discover traditional Omani life, visit homes where rose water is distilled, and enjoy the fragrant roses in bloom. The villages are set amidst dramatic peaks, gorges, and wadis, creating an unforgettable highland experience.
